Task notes allow you to add more detail to a task to clarify its purpose, assign specific responsibilities and to add supporting files and attachments.
Task notes allow you to include a short description to your task to clarify its purpose or scope, and to provide additional info to everyone involved. Task notes might include links to relevant resources, a list of expectations, or roadmap for the task.
To add a note to a new task, simply click the “Add notes” field beneath the name field in the task form.
Just like with task comments, you can @mention your teammates and even add emoji in your note. To attach a file to the task, along with the note, either drag and drop the file over the task form or scroll down to the Add Files field and click to see more uploading options, such as Dropbox, Box, or Google Drive, and Microsoft OneShare.
To add a note to an existing task, click “Add notes” in the task pane and type. When you’re finished, click Save to apply.
