Flow is a flexible project management tool designed for any project or workflow. Replace long email chains and countless meetings by weaving Flow into your every day. Simply designed and powerful, Flow allows you to view all of your team’s work in one collaborative workspace, making it a great fit for both remote and in office teams.
Your Flow
Flow is a hierarchy, with your Organization at the top. Within an Organization, you create Teams. In those Teams you create Projects to breakup and organize your work, and Projects are where you create your action items; we call those Tasks.
Organization
An organization is the first thing you'll create in Flow: it’s the foundation that you build the rest around. Your organization contains administrative and subscription info, all your users, and your teams. Users are first invited to the organization, then they can be separated into Teams.
Teams
Teams are how you logically separate your organization members. Usually they’re created for departments, locations, or divisions. Separate your contents further by quarter, timeline, location, and more by using project groups.
Projects
Split your tasks up into different projects depending on whatever criteria fits your work style. You might have a project for each client, or for each upcoming campaign or event. It really depends on what makes sense for you and your team.
Tasks
Tasks are where you will collaborate most. Create tasks in projects to keep track of the work needed to complete that project. Add due dates, subscribers, notes, and more to ensure you stay on top of the work.
Your Flow Users
Your Flow organization can be made up of three different user types, each with different permissions. These are:
Organization Admin
They can do it all: view and update billing, add/remove users, update member roles, change organization wide settings, join all teams (including locked ones!) and can add/remove/update users in said teams
Organization Member
Can create projects, tasks, and manage both. Automatic access to public teams, but can’t join locked teams unless invited. No access to billing/subscription info, or organization settings.
Guests
No permissions to add users or change anything on the org/team levels. Can only see the teams or projects they are specifically invited to.
