Flow introduced new plans and a new pricing structure on April 15th, 2020. Read on to learn more about how these changes might affect your team and to get more about our new plans.
What’s changing?
Team plans
We’re moving from offering 2 plans, Starter and Pro, to offering 3 plans called Basic, Plus and Pro. This will allow teams to better tailor their experience in Flow by choosing a plan that most closely suits their needs. To see a full feature breakdown for each plan, head over to our pricing page.
We’re also introducing new tiered discounts for each plan when you pay annually. That means the bigger the plan, the more you save. Here’s a quick breakdown of the discounts by plan:
- Basic - At $6 per person per month, you’ll save 25% compared to the Basic monthly plan. This works out to a full 3 months free each year.
- Plus - At $8 per person per month, you’ll save 33% compared to the Plus monthly plan. This is equivalent to 4 months free each year.
- Pro - At $10 per person per month, you’ll save 44% compared to monthly Pro plan. This works out to 5 months free every single year. Take a minute to catch your breath. We’ll wait.
Enterprise
Going forward, we will no longer be offering an Enterprise plan. Instead we’ve rolled all of those features into the new Pro plan. The Pro plan is specifically designed for teams that want additional security and control, as well as access to advanced integrations like Zapier — which can help you connect Flow to Salesforce, JIRA, Gmail, and more than 100 other apps. To switch from an old Enterprise plan to our new Pro plan, simply change your plan in the Flow app.
Flow Solo
Not everyone is a part of a large, multi-person team and those scrappy individuals need a place to organize their work too. That’s why we’re officially offering a new, single-user plan called Solo, which gives you all the benefits of Flow for just $4.99 per month when you pay monthly or $2.99 per month when you pay yearly. This option will only be visible and available to single-person accounts. If you have a team account today and would like to switch to a Solo account, simply remove all other team members and then update your plan in the app.
Non-Profits & Educational Institutions
As we shared in March, we’ve increased our 30% discounts for qualified non-profits, educational organizations, and students to a 50% lifetime discount. Flow has always been dedicated to supporting organizations whose work directly impacts communities and we feel that the time is right to double down on that support. If your team currently receives 30% off or if you’re not receiving a discount and believe you’re eligible, please contact our Customer Experience team for help.
Q & A
Can I keep my current plan & pricing?
Yes! To make the transition effortless, we’ve already mapped every organization onto the new plan that most closely resembles the one they’re on now. But the cost of your subscription and the features you have access to will remain the same. If anything, you might even have access to a few more features than you did before.
How do I take advantage of the new NFP & higher education discount?
If your team is currently receiving the 30% discount and want to start saving more with the new 50% discount, just send our team a message. We’d be happy to help you make the switch.
Can I switch from my current plan to one of the new plans?
Feel free! Just note that by moving to a new plan you’re confirming that you’re okay leaving your current pricing and feature set for those attached to the new plan. If you need to clarify what those are before making a decision, just head to our pricing page for a full breakdown.
What about your Enterprise plan?
As with grandfathered plans, you can remain on the Enterprise plan that you’re currently on if you prefer. Going forward, however, our Pro plan will take the place of our old Enterprise plan. If your team wants advanced security, more granular control, advanced integrations like Zapier, and VIP support, our new Pro plan is built for you.
Why are some features in the new plans marked as “Available in Flow X”?
As we shared in February, we’ve been working on a completely new version of Flow for the last year that we call Flow X. Flow X entered Beta with 600 customers in late March and we’re working hard to roll out to all of our customers in stages throughout May and June. If you’d like to be added to the Flow X Beta early, simply reach out and request early access. And rest assured that everyone will have access to Flow X in June — ahead of its public launch.
What do I do if I have more questions?
Get in touch, of course! We’re always here to help.
